My Journey with NASCAR Legend Buddy Baker
As a kid growing up in Daytona Beach, Florida in the 1960's who was lucky enough to later pick up a camera and create a career photographing race cars, I had the unique experience of photographing many drivers who had been childhood heroes of mine. NASCAR legend Buddy Baker was one such driver.

A tribute to NASCAR great Greg Biffle
Biffle seemingly appeared out of nowhere back in 1998 when he showed up at Disney World Speedway in a Jack Roush prepared NASCAR Craftsman truck. He came home 5th in that race, a hint at things to come. Just 2 years later he captured the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship

WTF (Was That a Finger!?)
I never had the chance to ask about the hand signal and to this day I don't know if it was made in jest, a good natured ribbing of a buddy as he raced past on the racetrack or whether it was made out of some sort of simmering bad blood among teammate rivals.

The Eyes Behind the Helmets: NASCAR Media Day 2011
In 2011, in an effort to keep more involved in the media day process, I decided to give myself a little extra self-assignment. I though it might be interesting to focus in on the drivers' eyes. After all, these were the eyes that would soon be gazing through sandblasted windshields as the sped around Daytona, looking for holes to shoot and opportunities to pass at 200 miles per hour.
