My name's Brian Cleary, and I'm a freelance photographer operating out of the Daytona Beach, Florida area.

I hold a batchelor's degree in communications from Florida Atlantic University(1979) and an associate's degree in photography from Daytona Beach Community College(1982).   My specialties include motorsports photography ( I cover about 10 NASCAR Winston Cup races per year and have photographed 18 Daytona 500's), Sports ( I cover the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as the occasional Florida Gators' football game), News ( I've covered every Space Shuttle launch since 1988) and Animals and Nature ( I update my files regularly with trips to many area preserves, reserves and parks.

Besides my experience in actually taking the photographs, I also have the ability to perform all the associated photo lab chores and am experienced in scanning and transmitting digital iamge files directly to clients.

I've worked for The Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, United Press International, International Speedway Corporation, NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, Sebring Raceway, Miami Motorsports and the International Motorsports Association, to name just a few.

My photos have appeared in Stock Car Racing Magazine, Racing Milestones, Auto Racing Digest, Football Digest, Inside Sports Magazine, Spider Magazine, Florida Motorsports Magazine, Auto Racing Memories Magazine, American Photographer Magazine, Popular Photography Magazine, and books published by David Bull and UMI Publishing.
