The green anole is the only member of the anole family native to North America and the brown anole, introduced from the West Indies, is the other commonly seen anole.  Any photography with a macro lens and a little patience can be rewarded with a nice portfolio depicting these little lizards going about there busy lives.(Click here for a related article)
