What it is:

As NASCAR progresses into it's 60th year of some of the closest, most exciting racing in the history of motorsports, I’m proud to unveil my contribution to the history of stock car racing.

As a photographer covering motor racing since the early 1980’s, I’ve built quite an archive of images from the sport’s past and now I’m working to place that archive on-line where it will become a new photo resource for photobuyers, editors, publishers, webmasters and other NASCAR licensed photobuyers needing to purchase hi-res pictures of the cars and stars from yesterday.

With this announcement there are currnetly more than 1,700 images from the 1980’s online and ready for immediate purchase! Bill Elliott Ford Thunderbird turn 4 Daytona)Photo by Brian Cleary/www.bcpix.com
Who it's for:

My online photo database is a resource designed exclusively for magazine and book publishers, editors and photo buyers as well as motorsports web site webmasters who require quick access to a fully searchable group of photos to be purchased for editorial purposes.

Unfortunately, due to licensing issues, this database can not be made available to race fans wishing to purchase copies of the photos.

Fans are still able to enjoy my fully searchable, "view-only" 1980 photo galleries at:
Brian Cleary's 1980's NASCAR Photo Database.

How it works and how to get it:

Once you've been issued your username and password you can log-in and begin to browse the photos online. The database is fully searchable, making finding just the right photo quick and easy.

You can download lo-res files for use in your company's review and approval and for use in creating layout mock-ups and you can request hi-res images which you will recieve via e-mail within 24 hours.

At this point it becomes like a regular photo submission, if any of the photos are used in your publication or web site, you pay for usage at your regular editorial rates.

Signup and database access is FREE, you only pay if you actually use the photos in your publication or web site.
