1988 Daytona 500
Daytona International Speedway-February 14, 1988

Bobby and Davey Allison finished first and second in this race which featured Richard Petty's spectacular grinding crash coming off turn 4. This was the only Daytona 500 that I missed from 1978 to the present, thus my online photo database contains only 39 photos from the practice and qualifying days leading up to the race.
